Ontario Northland SD40-2 1737 (GMD 1974), goes for a spin on the North Bay turntable. The turntable, is pneumatic. It works by pumping air into cylendars that turns the wheels. With the weight of a locomotive, it makes alot of noise, and sounds alot like an old steam locomotive. The turntable pit features ramps to enable a "payloader" (as refered to by ONR crews) a.k.a. front end loader to get in and push the table. The Lakeshore Drive overpass is in the background.
