CN SD75I 5750

Walker Coe photo. Waubamik, Ontario. September 28, 2001,

This is a shot I was able to take on a railfanning trip with my local "club", SCORE. One of our members live in Parry Sound, Ontario, and each September, we dine at a local restraunt in Barrie, Ontario, and prepare for the 2 hour trip north. This usually begins with some railfanning on the trip there, and with a meet at the McDonalds, we cram into a van, and a car, and away we go. This was shot at Waubamik, On., and it is a southbound merchandiser pulling into the hole, led by SD75I 5750. In a few short minutes, the north bound will appear, and will roar further on north. We were affraid that we were in a bad place to see the northbound, but as luck would have it, there was an empty bulkhead flat stop just near the orange post. It was a neat setting. Note the old boxcar on the left of the shot.
