Walker Coe photo. Parry Sound, Ontario. September 28, 2001. A natural spot to watch a train! This is the old CN station in Parry Sound, Ontario. CN 2552, a C44-9CW leads 2 other GE sisters on a northbound double stack train. The engineer is still on the whistle, signalling for another crossing just to the north of here. The sound vibrations are still felt to this day. I don't think my hearing is correct yet! This train seemed like it was never going to end. It sure was a long string of containers destined for the Pacific. |
