Life as a bulkhead flat wasn't good enough for ONT 4507, so she was sent into the North Bay shops of the ONR to be rebuilt into the Canoe Car to be used on the mixed train, the "Little Bear", between Cochrane and Moosonee, Ontario. She just arrived off of the "Bear" earlier that afternoon.

The "Canoe Car" has a capacity of carrying 18 canoes, 6 on each rack (3 per side).

Often canoeists paddle up (down?) the Moose River to Moosonee then put their gear on the Little Bear to get back to Cochrane so they don't have to fight the currents to get home. Sound's like fun to me!
