Jobs

In FF XI, players have to choose the "Job" (class) for their character. You can choose from the six initial Jobs, but there are might be as many as 9 other Jobs. Each job has its own "job ability" which you learn as your job level increases. You can also have support Jobs. Once you have completed a certain required quest, you go back to your Mog House and you will have the option to set a Support Job. Your Support Job is just like a regular Job, with the exception that its only 1/2 as powerful as your main Job. For example, If your main Job were a level 50 White Mage, and your Support Job were a Warrior, you would be a level 25 Warrior. No matter how hard you try leveling up your Support Job, it will always remain half as strong as your main Job. It is rumored that there are four more Jobs, Samurai, Ninja, Summoner, and Dragoon. Apparently you must be atleast at level 40 to change your class to any of these. Remember this is only a RUMOR. I will update this as soon as I get more information on the other Jobs. The statistics in teal and white are the starting stats for each Job. There is only stats for 6 Jobs because you are only allowed to choose out of the 6 Jobs, initially.

Warrior
Experts in close ranged combat with weapons.

Provocation 5 Makes the targets focus on attacking you
Berserker 15 Attack up, defense down
Defensive 25 Defense up, attack down
War Cry 35 Powers up your party members
Aggressor 45 Increase Accuracy but Lower Evasion

Pet Scan 10 Can scan to see if it can be tamed
Calm the Beast 30 Calm a monster so that taming it becomes easier

Fighter from Darkness. Dark Knights can also cast black magic spells

Specialist in long ranged attacks with bow and arrow

Eagle Eye 1

Triples current bow/arrow damage

Sharpshooter 1 increases arrow accuracy
Scavenger 10 find items on the ground
Camouflage 20 Become transparent so that an enemy will lose track of you
Continuous Shot 30 Fire shots one after another until one misses the target
Shadow Sewing 40 Bind a target in place
