Mashed Potatoes
Peel and dice 6 potatoes.
Place in pan with 2 inches of
water and 1 t salt.
Bring to a boil.
Lower heat and cover.
Cook until tender.
Pour off any excess water.
Pour into mixer with 1
stick butter.
Beat until all mashed.
Add ½ to 1 pt whipping cream until smooth.
Salt to taste.
You can add 2 inches of
Velveeta cheese when you pour the potatoes into mixer for cheese potatoes.
