Fried Corn-Wilma Tarter

Shuck, silk and wash 9 ears of fresh corn.

With very sharp knife, slice off tops of kernels by cutting the kernels in half.

After cutting off tops, scrape the other half of the kernels off the cob with the knife.

This will make lots of cream.

In heavy pan, melt 1 stick of butter

Pour cut off corn into skillet and add 1 t salt

Immediately turn to low and cover.

Stir every few minutes to be sure it isn’t sticking.

Cook until corn is done-about 10 min.

Do not add sugar or milk!
