Bean Soup
You can do it the old fashioned way. Take a bag of pintos and one of great northerns and soak them over night in salt water. Cover with water, add salt, 1 heaping spoon of bacon grease and ½ stick of butter. Bring to a boil and simmer all day. Or you can buy canned pintos and great northerns and add salt, ½ stick butter and 1 heaping spoonful of bacon grease and heat. |
