Chicken
and Dumplings-Sherrie Lightner
Simmer in heavy pan for one
hour:

chicken breasts 3 c
water
1 stick
butter
1 t poultry seasoning
½ t sage
2 t salt
¼ t
pepper
Remove chicken from broth. Add
1 c cream and 1 c milk.
Bring to a boil.
Drop in 1 can Grands Butter
Flavored Biscuits cut in thirds.
Turn heat down to low. Watch
carefully because they boil over easily.
Add 2 T cornstarch
mixed in 1/3 c water.
Cover and let simmer for 15
min.
You can split the broth and
make a double batch using same milk and cream in each batch and another
can of biscuits. Works just fine.
