Chicken Jubilee-Margaret Keefauver
Place 8 chicken breasts in open roasting pan,
skin-side up. Season with 2 tsp salt and 1/3 t
pepper; drizzle with 1/4 c melted butter.
Brown in butter. Mix thoroughly and pour over chicken: 1 c water, 1/2
c brown sugar, 1/2 c raisins, 1 t garlic salt, 1
medium sliced onion, 1 (12 oz) bottle chili sauce, 1 T Worchestershire
sauce. Cover pan with aluminum foil or roaster top. Bake for 1 hour in
325. Remove foil; add 1 (16 oz) can Bing Cherries with juice.
Continue baking for 15 minutes. Serve over rice. Yield 8
servings.
