Cook together until dissolved: 1 c sugar 1 c light Karo ½ t salt ¼ lb butter Beat 3 large eggs until frothy. Fold in syrup mixture. Add 1 ½ t vanilla and 2 c chopped pecans Place in unbaked pie shell. Bake 30-40 min at 325o
