Cherry Pie-Jane Puckett
Cook in microwave bowl: ½ c. sugar
juice from 1 lb can Red Tart cherries plus enough water to make 1 c 1 t lemon juice When hot add 2 T cornstarch mixed in 1/3 c cool water Stir well and return to microwave until thickened Add 1 lb can Red Tart cherries and red food coloring. Place in baked pie shell and cool. Top with topping whipped with cold beaters: 3 oz cream cheese
2 T lemon juice 2/3 c
partially frozen Pet milk
¼ c sugar ½ t almond extract Spoon on cool cherry mix. Chill 3 hours.
