Chess Pie-Mrs. Lawrence Wilson

Mix:

1 ¹/₃ c sugar                 1 c canned milk or cream

2 T cornstarch            1 stick butter

4 egg yolks                 1 t vanilla

2 T white Karo

Pour in unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle with 2 t cinnamon and 1 t nutmeg.

Bake 35 min at 350^o

After almost done, cover with meringue using reserved egg whites
