Buttermilk Pie-Carmichaels Combine: 2 c minus 2 T sugar
½ c melted butter ½ t salt
¼ c plain White Lily flour Add: 3 slightly beaten eggs
½ c buttermilk 1 t vanilla Bake 45 min at 350o in unbaked 9” regular pie shell. (Don’t use deep dish). Be sure to poke lots of holes in the unbaked pie shell with a fork. Sprinkle the reserved 2 T sugar over the entire pie shell before pouring in filling. Center will still be a little shaky when done.
