Lime Pickles-Nancy Elkin
Let stand 24 hours:
2 gal water
2 c lime hydrated
8 ½ lb yellow cucumbers cut in ½ ‘ pieces
Wash three times in water
Cover with syrup below overnight:
2 qt vinegar
1 t celery seed
3 lb sugar
1 t pickle spice
1 t salt.
Cook 35 min. Jar and seal.
