Strawberry Waffles-Sherrie
Mix together with wire whisk:
2 c self-rising White Lily
flour
2 egg yolks
½ c oil
2 c milk
Fold into 2 stiffly beaten
egg whites.
Pour by dipperfuls onto hot
waffle iron.
Remove from waffle iron when
done.
Top with butter,
strawberries, whipped cream and syrup.
Syrup
In heavy pan, boil until syrup
consistency:
2 c white sugar
2 c brown sugar
½ stick butter
1 ½ c water
May add blueberries if
desired.
