Beef
Stew-John Laws
Brown in a heavy Dutch oven.:
2 lb beef stew cubes
1 large chopped onion
2 T olive oil
Add:
3 c. water
2 t salt
2 t pepper
2 c cubed potatoes
2 c sliced carrots
10 oz green beans (optional)
2 c diced celery
10 oz peas (optional)
10 oz corn (optional)
2 t Worcestershire (optional)
Simmer covered until all
vegetables are done and meat is very tender.
Add Pioneer or Lowry’s Gravy
Mix to thicken.
