Onion Blossom
Peel 1 large onion. Cut in fourths. Cut each
fourth in thirds.
Cut to ½” of root being careful not to slice all
the way through.
Boil 1 min. Put in ice water for 5 min. Drain upside
down.
Shake onion in 2 T plain flour in bag.
Dip onion in 1 beaten egg.
Shake onion in bag of 1 c fine cracker crumbs
Chill 1 hour.
Pour oil to 3” depth in fryer. Heat to 375o.
Fry 5-7 min until golden brown. Drain on paper towel.
Use Ranch dressing or Ranch dressing with
horseradish for dipping.
