Vanilla
Pudding
Mix together in microwave bowl:
¾ c sugar
½ t salt
2 c milk
½ stick butter
Cook in microwave on high for 7 minutes.
Pour some of hot mixture into 3 egg yolks.
Pour back in hot mixture and cook 2 min on high.
Mix 3 T cornstarch in ¼ c cool water.
Add to hot mixture and stir.
Cook 2 minutes at a time until thickened.
Add 2 t vanilla.
Serve with whipping cream or make banana pudding.
You can also add dash of bourbon and nutmeg and top with fresh
whipping cream and drink it hot.
