Line 8” square pan with ¾ c vanilla wafer crumbs

Filling:

½ c melted butter

1 c xxx sugar

1 egg

½ t vanilla

¼ c chopped pecans

Top filling with 2 (10 oz) pkg thawed and drained strawberries.

Spread ½ pt whipped cream over strawberries,

Sprinkle ¼ c vanilla wafer crumbs over top

Chill 24-48 hours before serving.
