Strawberry
Triffle-Sherrie Lightner
Pudding
Mix together in microwave bowl:
¾ c sugar
½ t salt
2 c milk
½ stick butter
Cook in microwave on high for 7 minutes.
Pour some of hot mixture into 3 egg yolks.
Pour back in hot mixture and cook 2 min on high.
Mix 3 T cornstarch in ¼ c cool water.
Add to hot mixture and stir.
Cook 2 minutes at a time until thickened.
Add 2 t vanilla.
Line triffle bowl or other large serving bowl with lady
fingers or slices of angel food cake.
Add a layer of fresh strawberries
Sprinkle with sugar
Pour warm pudding over strawberries.
Make another cake layer,
Make another strawberry layer
Use remaining pudding mixture on top
Serve warm with whipped cream and whole
strawberries to garnish
