Floating Island
Heat in microwave:
3 ½ c milk
½ c sugar
pinch salt
When hot pour part of mixture into 3 egg yolks. Return to
original mixture and cook 2 min.
Add 2 T cornstarch dissolved in ½ c milk to hot mixture
and stir well.
Cook on high for 2-3 min until thickened.
Add 1 grated orange rind.
Top with meringue in custard cups and brown meringue.
