Chess Cake Bars-Sherrie Lightner

Mix by hand:

1 box yellow butter cake mix                  2 eggs

2 t Amaretto                                       1 stick melted butter

Place in 13x9” pan.

Top with following mixture mixed by hand:

1 (8oz) pkg soft cream cheese             2 eggs

1 lb xxx sugar                                     2 t Amaretto

Spread over cake layer.

Bake 35-40 min at 350^o

Bake until the edges are light brown and the center fairly firm. Probably won’t be completely firm when done. Cool and cut into pieces. Roll in xxx sugar and store.
