Cream Cheese
Frosting-Margaret Wiseman
Cream 1 (8 oz) pkg regular cream cheese (If you use soft or whipped
cream cheese the frosting will not set up.) and ¼ c soft butter.
Add 1 lb sifted xxx sugar.
Add 2 t lemon juice and 2 t vanilla.
Blend well. If mixture is too thin (add more xxx sugar for a nice spreading
thickness)
Frost cake when just barely warm. It will spread better. If you have any
frosting left, freeze it for another time.
