Date Nut Cake-Jane Puckett

Mix:

2 c sugar                     1 c chopped dates                                    1 c buttermilk

1 t soda                       1 t salt                                                 1 t vanilla

1 c butter                    2 c plain White Lily flour                     1 c chopped nuts

2 eggs                         1 ½ t cinnamon

Bake 60 min in tube pan at 350^o
