Calico
Carrot Cake
Cook 1 pkg
(10oz) carrot nuggets frozen in butter sauce by package
directions
Place cooked in blender and
grate to coarse. Do not
puree.
Place in mixing bowl and add:
2 c plain White Lily flour
1 c sugar
1 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1 ½ t cinnamon
1 t salt
4 eggs
1 c raisins
1 c plus 2 T vegetable oil
Pour batter into a greases
9x13 pan. Bake 45 mina t 350o. Cool and frost.
Frosting
Cream:
½ c soft butter
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
3 ½ c xxx sugar
½ t vanilla
Add:
½ c coarsely chopped walnuts
