Scalded Cornbread-Libby Lightner
Mix:
1 ½ c plain corn meal
1 ½ t salt
1 c hot water
Stir up in bowl. You may need
a little extra water to make a thick dough.
Drop by teaspoonfuls in black
skillet of hot oil.
Brown on each side and cook
until cooked through.
Serve with bean soup.
