Dinner Rolls-Libby Lightner
Mix well
and knead the following:
1 ¾ c lukewarm water
2 pkgs. Dry yeast
½ c Wesson oil or melted
butter
1 egg
3 T Sugar
½ t Salt
5 c White Lily Self-rising
flour
Put in
large bowl that has been sprayed with Pam.
Let rise for an hour or
until
double in size.
That is
when you press on it with your finger it does not spring back up.
Roll out,
cut with biscuit cutter, dip rolls in butter and place on a cookie
sheet
that has been sprayed with Pam.
Cover and
let rise until double.
Bake at
450o for about 10 min.
These
freeze well. Wrap frozen rolls in tinfoil and place in over at 300o
for 20-30 minutes.
