Destination: Beautiful
Last night, I went with Monica, Kat, Dante, Jean, and Carlo to the Mae show at Krikorian Theatre. That place was nice. We all sat down, and then Carlo went with Dante to get some coffee. So a few minutes later, this guy sitting 3 or 4 seats down moved closer to Kat and I talking about the Holy Spirit or something. Then he moved to Monica and Jean and told them this story about him being an ex convict. Scary man. When Dante and Carlo came back, Monica and Jean moved away from the scary dude and left Dante, Kat, and I with him. He was talking about some karate thing he used to do thinking we were Japanese or something. Haha, so my phone (which was in Kat's bag that Jean was holding) started to ring and Jean handed it to me. I looked at the screen and it said "Jean's Cell Calling..." and I looked at her and said all loud "Why are you calling me Jean? I'm right here." but she was trying to save me from talking to the scary conv. haha, I'm slow. Sorry!
Anyway, I think the first band was July Down. Haha, "Pelvic Thrust" guy was going crazy. Unsung Zeros were good. We rested while Never Heard Of It played. But Mae man, they were great. "Pizza or Pits?" I thought it was Pits too Dante, Haha... During the 2nd to the last song, there was this kid on the side moshing by himself and yelled "WESTSUUIDE" at the end of the song. Haha, I think he was on speed. After their set, we went in line to buy some merch. Monica, Dante, and I got the same shirt but different colors. You'll see us wearing them on Wednesday (If you go to Morse). So after we got all our stuff, we sat down by the Mae merch stand and I looked at Monica's stuff and asked her about her sticker. She got her sticker for free because it took forever to find a shirt her size. So yeah, this one guy sitting near us (who happened to be Mae's manager) says "You guys want some stickers??" haha. Woohoo. And I dunno what happened, but he offered to get the band out to sign our stuff. Man, cool guy. So they actually came to us and signed our stuff (except for the singer, Dave because he left). I asked them to draw pictures over their faces on my sticker. Rob? Ross? or uh, Phil Collins drew hair and a goatee on his picture. I also got sun glasses and a heart on Matt, and a "mask" on Jacob. We thanked their manager and talked to him for a bit, and then we left.
