I must admit, at first
I didn't believe that any kind of "exercise" could help
you to pen spin. But that is far from the truth! Your fingers can
be the hardest things to move independantly. Due to this they do
need a lot of exercise which can really pay off in pen spinning!
1.
Bend the lower knuckle of your finger. Bend each finger ten times
at the lowest knuckle on your finger and repeat this 4 times. 40
in all. Then do it on your other hand.
2.
This exercise is very hard to learn but is sure to help. Its the
same as the above exercise but with your top knuckle.
3.
This exercise is not really an exercise but more of a stretch. It
is a very very important stretch that I perform as much as possible,
expecially before I do any pen spinning or pen spinning exercises.

The
stretch basicaly involves bending your hand from side to side
until you feel the stretch down your forearm. It's called the
prayer stretch.

4. If the exercises become too
easy consider doing them with cell-o-tape around the knuckles that
you are bending.
