Meetings
Monthly Archaeological Society meetings include lectures, films, and laboratory sessions. Our 'hands on' workshops are most popular. We have a continuing archaeological project to establish the precise location of Fort Jemseg. Can you tell the difference between a seal flipper bone and a beaver toe bone? The Society also organizes bus tours to specific sites or areas of archaeological interest. We socialize at a Christmas party and at a summer social gathering. Our "FieldNotes" publication offers short research reports, book reviews and notes on sites one may visit or where one may volunteer.
