Introduction

The New Brunswick Archaeological Society

    The New Brunswick Archaeological Society is a group of people who are interested in the discovery, exploration, preservation and interpretation of our archaeological heritage. The Society recognizes that archaeological sites can provide a wealth of information concerning earlier peoples and cultures. 

    Each archaeological site has a unique story to tell, and without protection, sites can easily be destroyed and pieces of history can be forever lost. Without educational endeavors such as publications and public lectures, some of our oldest and most interesting Maritime history will remain untold.
