30.09.2004.
Thursday. A little bit foggy. Today I have to take an exam, which lasts for five days. I have just back home. I feel tired, so tired. I did not take any snapshot today, so I decide to upload one of the photos taken yesterday for sharing with all of you. ---------------------- Date on which this photo was taken: 29.09.2004 Time at which this photo was taken: Night. Place at which this photo was taken: Mongkok, Kowloon. Footnote: It is not easy to see a van, an MTR, a taxi and a private car at the same time. It is the magic of photography! |

28.09.2004.
Wednesday. Holiday after the Mid-Autumn Festival. A hot day
without wind.
When I was in Mongkok tonight, I noticed there were many people working on the street. One of them was a promoter of an internet service provider. At the back of his advertisement board, it wrote, "Get business everyday!! Don't let it be zero!!" What a warm, typical and interesting sentence for encouragement! ---------------------- Date on which this photo was taken: 29.09.2004 Time at which this photo was taken: Night. 28.09.2004. Tuesday. The
Mid-Autumn Festival. Sunny. I read a book yesterday, which mentioned about working pressure. The meaning of the author was that pressure was necessary for a task to be done effectively. If we were always in a loosen state, we would become lazy; if we were always in a tense state, we would become anxious. So, an appropriate level of pressure could help effectively the smoothness in doing a task, and could help constructively one's development in life. In my opinion, pressure cannot be eliminated, especially for a person who is working in the society. So, it is an Art of Life to learn how to reduce the pressure on one's shoulder, as well as to learn how to release it. I prefer to achieve so by hiking, running, swimming and taking photographs. How about you? ---------------------- Date on which this photo was taken: Mid-2004. Time at which this photo was taken: Night. Place at which this photo was taken: Mo Man Shan (a mountain), Hong Kong. Footnote: I have to thank, first of all, the model, who help, free of charge, train my sense in taking portrait photographs. Today, I was asked by some of my net friends to post some of my portrait photographs in this website. Thanks should once more be given to the model who permitted me to post her photos here. |

Early September, 2004. We have the victory again! Last year, five hundred thousand people joining the 7.1 protest resulted in the coming down from the stage of Mr. Leung Kam-chung, the ex-Chief Financial Secretary, who was suspected in fraudulence in reducing the payable tax regarding a car buying event, and Mrs. Yip Lau Sook-yee, the ex-Secretary for Security, who was failing to listen to the public in her promotion of the draft legislation regarding Article 23 of the Basic Law. This year, more than five hundred and thirty thousand people joined together again on the same date of 7.1, resulting in the coming down of the stage of Mr. Yeung Wai-keung, the Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food, who failed in managing the SARS event properly, which took away about 200 lives in Hong Kong. What I believe is that: Democracy is not the best constitution, but it is already the best among all constitutions ever existed. Coming down from the stage of a guy cannot guarantee a better guy to come up to the stage, but it, at least, provides a chance for us to select for a better guy. Believe in Democracy; Believe Yourself! We have already demonstrated to the power-holder of the Government our objections by our foot. We have to go on to tell the power-holder our objections by our hands: remember to make use of your vote in the coming Legislative Council Election. See you on 12.9. ---------------------- Date on which this photo was taken: 01.07.2003. Time at which this photo was taken: Afternoon. Place at which this photo was taken: Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. |
