ONE VOICE
One Voice is a vocal quartet with a unique blend of acappella music. Formed in 1997, One Voice began as a gospel quartet and has performed for many churches and civic organizations. Since most of the members were avid barber shoppers, the barbershop style quickly influenced their sound. They now sing a variety of music that includes comedy and patriotic. All of the members of One Voice currently sing with the Town North Men of Note, a barbershop chorus that meets in Plano, Tx. All are also members of the Webb Chapel church of Christ.

Roger Daw sings Lead. Roger joined One Voice as the Baritone in 1999 when the original Baritone was transferred. He and Dennis (currently thr Baritone) recently switched parts so that Roger could finally experience the joy of singing melody. Roger began his musical career as a trombone player.

Mike Swayne is the Tenor, and is the group's sound technician. Mike's musical roots reach all the way to the Stamps / Baxter quartet, where his great uncle was a member. Mike began singing barbershop in 1996.

Dennis Thompson sings Baritone, the most difficult part in a barbershop quartet. He is the newest member of One Voice, having joined the quartet as Lead in 2002. Dennis is a prolific writer and arranger of music, and plays trombone with the Carrollton Community Band.

Greg Hargis is the Bass. He has been singing barbershop since 1988, and has sung with many quartets and barbershop choruses. Greg is also a magician, and often adds a little magic to One Voice performances.
