Hi! My name is Ellena. I'm 21 years old and live in Sydney, Australia.

I have 1 horse at the moment and am shopping for another. Skippy is a bay Standardbred gelding Unfortunately for me, when I was young my parents didn't realise that being horse crazy is a sickness that does not heal with time!!! So it was up to me to get a job when I got older and find agistment and take total care of Skippy myself.

Mum and Dad have since come around to the horsey world somewhat, but it is still largely a passion that I fund and participate in by myself.

When I'm not horsing around, i'm studying for my Real Estate Licence by correspondence, and working full time as membership consultant for a large chain of Women's Health Clubs (gyms).

I also have a boyfriend who's from New Zealand, so between my horses, work, studying, and boyfriend, I don't really have much time left!!! Sometimes I wonder how I fit it all in!!!

I live in quite a good area for horses. There are tons of opportunities to ride and a lot of the "big name" riders live and compete locally. As I'm sure you're all aware, the Olympics have just been held in Sydney and it was absolutely awesome. The venue for the equestrian events was only about 1/2 an hour away. I was lucky enough to go to the Grand Prix Special. It was absolutely fantastic, if scorching hot!! Drop by my olympics page to check out the photos.
