My Chevy is a 1979 Brown Chevrolet Malibu
Classic with the 267 small block V8 and the THM automatic. It was a
birthday gift as my first car when I turned 16. At that point, it had
99,999 miles on it. With some help from friends, a new distributor
was dropped in to get it home. It turned out that the ignition module
was bad. Aside from that, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor helped make
it run a bit better. I bought some used tires on Chevy rims for $150,
including two snow tires on their own rims! It ran well for 14,000
miles till I got the Jeep. Now it is just a backup car.
