Let Bygones Be

Watch the movie:  Let Bygones Be

SYNOPSIS:

Jake(played be me) and Sam have their routine Sunday hike one very cold day. After twelve years of friendship, it seems nothing would ever come between their friendship. We are about to be proven wrong.  Let Bygones Be... is a 6min34sec short film that questions friendship and shows just how strong love can be.

PRODUCTION NOTES:

Shot in January 2003 in fifteen degree weather, this film was shot straight from a script I wrote. The script hit me one day, and I typed it up in like thirty minutes. I had envisioned my good friend David Cooper and I in this script, but the weather kind of hurt our acting. It came off close to my original vision, except during the murder scene at the end. Since this film was shot in one day, I felt we had enough footage, and if we didn't, well we'd just try and Let Bygones Be. It actually took me several days to edit, and I can say that the more I worked at it, the more I liked it. We shot using a Sony Digital 8, and the black and white noir film look we set out for, in my opinion, came off great. We didn't have enough to work with when it came to getting the ending right. The shovel sequence didn't come off like we had planned, but all in all, I feel it's a solid short with one crazy ending!!!

MORE NOTES:

The film was shot with only three people. All of this can be read at our site under the HISTORY section. This as well as the hilarious outtakes, and anything else we've done can be ordered at our ORDER OUR FILMS section. Hell, we may even send copies for free as long as you pay the postage.

WARNING:

This film is of a violent nature and has explicit language that some people may find offensive. Please watch with caution. This would definitely garner an R rating.
