This page will show how I like to wire frames. This isn't to say that this is the only way to do it, but it is one way to wire frames.
First start with an assembled frame that has eyelets installed. An alternate method is to use 1/4" staple over the holes in the end bars and run the wire on either side of the staple depending which direction the wire is to bend.
In this image two 1/2" or 5/8" nails are tapped in just above the two outer most holes in the end bars. Make sure the nails won't actually hit the holes however. These are the post to which the wire is to be wrapped around and attached.
The wire is then run through the eyelets. Back and forth. I like to start at the bottom right corner.
This shows the wire which is wrapped around the nail 4 or 5 times.
Next the top nail it hit down. Followed by hand tightening of the wire. If you struggle or have the wire cut your hands you doing it too hard. Finish by wrapping aroung the bottom nail like the top nail and hammer down. Then wiggle, wiggle, wiggle the wire till it breaks off flush.
Next you will need your handy little wire crimpers. I do hope you have some! I've found them to be well worth the 10 bucks
Taking the crimpers, either start with the bottom wire or the top and run the wire between the wheels of the crimper. This will spring load the wire and put it under tension, thus tightening it. Depending where you started work top to bottom or vice versa. This should give you a completed wired frame.
