"DISCLAIMER"

Welcome to People Eating Tasty Animals online! The acronym "PeTA" is commonly known to stand for "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals" - a radical and dangerous animal rights group closely involved with the terrorist movement "ALF" (Animal Liberation Front). Well, now PETA stands for People Eating Tasty Animals, too! This web site, inspired by the late (and great) Dan Fegan, is dedicated to shedding light on the movement known as "animal rights" and to putting people first when it comes to animal-related issues. We wish to show the truth behind the animal rights movement, why we disagree with the animal rights philosophy, and give facts (not just theories) on why the idea of "animal rights" is wrong. You should also understand that while we do support the ethical and humane use of animals for food, clothing, medicine, and other important needs, we do NOT condone the wanton abuse of any animal for entertainment or cosmetic testing. In other words, even though we are against animal rights, we do support animal welfare. Please click on the "AR vs. AW" link located in the left side frame of your browser to learn more about the major differences between the two ideologies.

Thanks for visiting! I hope you enjoy this site. Ever since the news articles about the giant lobster named "Bubba" were published with the mention of someone who claimed to be from "People Eating Tasty Animals" trying to buy it for food, I have been bombarded with emails from people on both sides of the ongoing debate about animal rights! Unfortunately, I no longer have the time to respond to them all but please know that I am delighted by all the attention that this phenomenon has generated for me and I do read most of the emails that are sent to me even if I don't have enough time to write responses back to each sender. So, if you have any comments that you would like to make about the content of this site and/or the ideals it stands for, whether they be positive or negative, then feel free to EMAIL ME and your message will be saved in my ever-growing "fan mail" collection! Please note, however, that if you intend to make negative comments I fully welcome your differing viewpoints and I LOVE debating about the issues but you should do your best to remain tactful and refrain from resorting to childish threats and personal insults as many people already have because I do not throw them away. In fact, I have been saving up all of my "hate mail" because I plan to compile it into a new webpage one day and display it here on this site for everyone to see for the purpose of furthering my contention of just how shallow many of you pro-AR people really are. My point being, if you can't converse with someone that you happen to disagree with about something without trying to degrade them with mindless slander then you are just going to wind up degrading yourself and subsequently discredit everything that you claim to stand for, which is fine by me. One other thing to all of you pro-AR people who decide to email me about this site...I'm not afraid to fight fire with fire, so if you decide to make inflammatory comments then you can expect the same thing to come right back at you. To everyone else, I just want to say thank you for all of the encouragement and positive feedback that you have taken the time to submit!

These are good sites to visit if you are interested in hunting or fishing, or if you just want some good information (from the source) about these activities and the people who participate in them. Some of these sites have articles posted by hunters and anglers about their activities and personal experiences in the field. If you are a non/anti-hunter/angler, reading these articles may help you better understand the psyche of the human predator.

By popular demand!
By popular demand, I have provided some links here to online vendors' pages where you can purchase "People Eating Tasty Animals" merchandise! Please bear in mind that I am not actually affiliated with these companies in any way nor do I support all of the ideals that their products are made to represent. In fact, I believe that many of the slogans they distribute are intended strictly for humor and are not meant to be taken seriously by anyone because of their overly offensive nature. In any case, don't try to blame me if you happen to be offended by something they promote other than the actual PETA logos that I am advertising here. Alternatively, you can just do a Google search for "people eating tasty animals" with the words "t-shirt" or "bumper sticker", etc. included in the string in order to find other PETA-themed items that may not be listed here. Enjoy!
