Cat haters are pussies...so fuck them.

To all CHOW members, affiliates, and supporters:

Disclaimer: Remember this is all just words and there’s no need to take it seriously because this is the internet and nothing is real in cyberspace, so anything can be considered good fun, even spreading mindless hatred and the desire to commit senseless violence against innocent beings. If you find this content offensive, please seek a therapist because there must be something wrong with you if you can’t see the wonderful humor that I am trying to share with you here. I promise I don’t do anything bad in real life, I only fantasize about it in public to get myself off so you can’t say anything to me about it. It’s called "free speech" and that means only people I like are allowed to talk to me. Surely you must respect my right to enjoy myself at the expense of others feelings and not send me hate mail because that would be mean.

To everyone else:

That's not my disclaimer of course, and it's not exactly how theirs goes either, but it's basically what the people at C.H.O.W (Cat Haters of the World) will try to tell you to get you off their back if you make any negative comments about their disgusting web site that glorifies the torture and abuse of cats for people's amusement. At first glance it does seem like a rather innocent comedy site that's just trying way too hard to be humorous about something that everyone knows is bad without meaning any real harm, even if it is in extremely bad taste, but if you really look at it you will see how terrible it really is. And if you contact them about it they will get all defensive and at first try to make you feel bad because they are just having some innocent fun by making jokes that don't hurt anyone and they will try to convince you that they don't really want to abuse cats in real life to put your mind at ease. Then they will accuse you of having no sense of humor and treat you like some kind of sick pervert for bothering them, even though they are the ones who are offending you. Add a little more pressure and they will crack and happily to reveal the fact that they really do hate cats, all cats, just for being cats, and don't believe that they deserve life at all and therefore it is ok for people to torture and kill them for fun, which they do encourage others to do if not actually do it themselves.

Let me tell you how I got started in all of this. I was watching TV one day while I was relaxing for a bit, which is not something I normally do since TV is mostly nothing but worthless garbage these days and I usually have much better things to do with my time. But I wanted to sit on my couch for a minute and the TV just happened to be on. I wasn't paying much attention to it until a commercial came on for the Rally's/Checkers fast food chain that showed a really cute cat puppet named "Rap Cat" that sings rap music in the form of meows, wears clothing and jewelry that is common among popular rap artists, and also imitates some of their stereotypical dance moves such as leaning over to one side. Well I was so amused by it that I went on the Internet to find a copy of the commercial and my Google search led me to youtube.com where I found it listed there.

Of course, on youtube people are allowed to make comments about the video, which is fine. Most of the comments about the video were positive and it even has a 4 star rating because it's so cute and funny at the same time, but I couldn't understand why some people were posting the letters "NEDM" in the comments section because I did not know what that meant. So I looked it up and found out. It's an acronym that stands for "Not Even Doom Music" which apparently became a popular ytmnd.com "fad" phrase after two punks in Belgium recorded themselves burning to death a live cat after stuffing it into a hamster cage, dousing it with petrol, and setting it on fire and then posted the video on the internet. Unfortunately I was able to find this sickening video and confirm that it is indeed real. Anyways, the guy who posted it on ytmnd thought it would make it even more "funny" to add music in the background that supposedly came from the popular 3D action video game DOOM in which you play as a space Marine in the near future who uses a variety of high-powered weapons to destroy demons that have come out of Hell to invaded a Martian research facility and kill all of its inhabitants, including you, after experiments in developing teleportation have gone awry. Of course lots people got upset about the cat burning video and one of the people who crusaded against the person who hosted it on ytmnd to get it taken off was quoted as saying "Not even Doom music" was a good enough excuse to give their site a good rating. Well, being a cat enthusiast and an avid fan of the DOOM series at the same time myself, I was highly pissed off by the whole thing and I want it to be known that I do not support the NEDM fad in any way because even though the phrase originally came from a person who was against the video, it is often used out of meanness to keep reminding people about it when there is no reason to do that. According to some people, the guys who actually made the disgusting video were apprehended by police and sent to jail, but I have not been able to find any actual news article confirming that.

During my search for this information I happened upon the web site chowmembers.com which glorifies the hatred of cats and promotes wanton violence against them and even sells merchandise like a coffee mug with a picture on it that shows a person getting ready to microwave a cat and offers interactive games depicting the outrageous abuse of cats for no other purpose than sick amusement. For example, they like to post pictures of real dead cats that they (supposedly) find lying in the road already dead and make fun of them and give detailed directions on how to torture a live cat by forcing it into a toilet and flushing it over and over on their myspace blog. Unfortunately the guys who made the web site didn't have the balls to include a guest book or message board or anything on their actual site that would allow public comments to be posted about it. Hmm, I wonder why that is. Probably because they know better. But they did at least provide a contact email address to which I sent a scathing letter of condemnation.

Much to my surprise, they actually replied to me and tried to defend themselves by saying that what they do is ok since no real cats are actually ever harmed by them and if their web site does happen to encourage someone else to do so, it's basically not their fault and they wouldn't feel bad about it either. They said that they don't think that their web site would actually make anyone want to hurt a cat in real life, but if it does they would be happy about it because they really don't believe that any cat is deserving of life and not only needs to be killed but also tortured for the amusement of their haters. They also try to claim that since there are worse things that are done to animals in the world than what they promote (which isn't true because they promote the very worst kinds of abuse that they can possibly think of), that makes it ok, and they even had the nerve to tell me that my time would be better spent enjoying their "humor" instead of picking on them for their "innocent" fun. I can't help but think that they would be a lot better off, and so would the rest of the world, if they (and others like them) found something better to do with their own time instead of spewing mindless hatred as a form of entertainment.

So far I've two different guys at the site who have replied to my original email, including the one who claims to be the actual illustration artist for C.H.O.W. who even told me that he would be happy to find out if someone really acted out the "Kitten Cannon" interactive video they offer on their site which shows cats being shot out of a rocket launcher type thing and getting impaled on metal spikes and such when they hit the ground with ample splats of blood and cries of distress from the cats, despite the fact that they try to claim that no cats are actually hurt in their cartoons and "always escape at the last minute". Fucking liars. And then they are such cowards that they tell people to send their hate mail to someone else so they don't have to deal with it and like to use the excuse of "free speech" to avoid persecution by the public. Apparently they fail to see that the blade of hatred can cut both ways.

So, I now currently have two separate email addresses that can be used to contact people who are directly affiliated with CHOW:

chowmembers@hotmail.com - The main contact that is supplied on the web site itself. Whoever has control of this account (they didn't supply any name other than the web site's) is the one who told me that no cats are ever shown actually being harmed in any of their cartoons, and when I asked him about the excessive violence, blood, torture, and death depicted in the "Kitten Cannon" video game his excuse for that was that he wasn't the one who actually created it and that if I had a problem with it I should just contact the original author of the game instead of bugging them about it, even though they have it displayed as one of the main attractions on the main page of their own web site. How lame is that? I told him that he was being just like a musician who sings a song about raping a woman and then tries to deflect criticism about it by saying that someone else wrote the words - pathetic. I didn't get any reply after that.

ducky420monteiro@comcast.net - "Ducky": The one who claims to be the main illustration artist for CHOW, who was forwarded my original email from the owner of the previous address, who sent me a reply stating, "Tell you the truth I would love to hear about some loser that builds a cannon and launches a cat from it. People have done a lot worse to animals in this world," after I asked him about "Kitten Cannon". He also said that if I cared anything about cats then I had no business coming to their web site at all let alone complaining about it because no one at CHOW asked me to come there and that I should find something better to do with my time. As if I need to be spoken to before I can speak about anything and as if he shouldn't be taking his own advice. Really, someone who has a whole web site dedicated to hating cats telling me to find something better to do with my time! He also tried to pull the free speech card on me by saying, "That is the wonderfull thing about America, having the right to express yourself even if it offends other people," while chastising me for exercising my own right of free speech by expressing my offense to their ridiculously hateful, cruel, and totally pointless web site that serves no other purpose than to upset people for their own amusement. I've seen a lot of hypocricy in my time, but that really takes the cake. He also said, "How about Cat Bowling? Did this make you think someone would build a bowling alley, set up ten cats ,and roll a ball at them? If they do, so be it."

My point here is that even if they don't practice animal abuse in real life, they like to pretend about it cyberspace and share their sick fantasies with others, and they deserve to have their asses verbally and/or pictorially reamed out for it at the very least. Notice that I am not trying to get their site shut down by any authorities, because I do believe in free speech for everyone, even sick morons like the ones at CHOW. I just think that they deserve to be treated like the garbage that they are for creating it, whether they like it or not.

Now I want to thank everyone who comes here and shares my point of view on this atrocity. I really want people to understand that even though I am against animal rights, I do support animal welfare a great deal and I have a very strong distaste (call it hatred if you want) for blatant animal haters like the guys at CHOW who promote animal abuse for entertainment by making fun of it and downplaying its seriousness while trying to emotionally detach people from the suffering of animals by encouraging them to laugh about it. Keep in mind that people who practice the real thing and post the evidence of it online tend to get their sites shut down by the authorities soon after it being reported in most cases and they get thrown in jail for it too while people like the guys at CHOW think that they are safe from all forms of persecution because they are only encouraging the abuse and making fun of it while, supposedly, not actually committing it in real life (so they claim). But, who’s to say that the photo of the dead cat they have posted online with its guts hanging out in the road was really the victim of a car accident? Maybe the guy who took the picture actually killed it himself on purpose and then arranged it in a way to look as if it was only the victim of road kill so that he could take the picture of it and post it online and avoid having the police come knocking on his door to question him about it. There is no way to tell, the only thing we can say for sure that it is wrong for people to post pictures of dead, dying, or suffering animals (whether they are real or not) for the sole purpose of making fun of them. Of course, in the end the people at CHOW really don't care what other people think about them. The entire premise of their "comedy" stems from making others feel bad, and they will even admit to that when someone tries to rationalize with them to get them to see what they are doing is wrong and why. The sad fact is they already know it's wrong and that's what they like about it. This may sound harsh, but I really believe people like that need to be castrated, especially after noticing that they are almost always male, but are not real men by any stretch of the imagination and most likely never will be.

You know, I wouldn't be surprised at all to find out that this whole cat-hating bullshit came out of their failing in relationships with women, and since you can't make a web site about hating women without getting your ass totally reamed out by the public they chose to pick on cats instead since they are easier targets that can't defend themselves online. It seems that they enjoy picking on defensless animals since they're not man enough face their own kind. Maybe their ex-girlfriends who rightfully left their stupid asses had a cat, but then so do a lot of women. Maybe they are transferring their hatred for women to their cats to try and get out some pent up sexual frustration or whatever without getting a huge backlash from the public. Except people like me aren't buying into it. They are pretty fucking weak if you ask me. Notice how they don't even have the balls to have a guest book or some other means for people to leave public comments on their web site too, because they like to dish it but can't take it, and they know exactly what kind of hell they would catch on it if they did put one up and are just too scared to face it.

Please note that I do NOT encourage complaining to PETA or any other dangerous human-hating animal rights group about the CHOW website, but if you really want to then go ahead because maybe it will at least get them some more hate mail. They really need to learn the simple fact that when a person promotes hatred they have no reason to defend themselves from it. I am also thinking about making a short animated cartoon or video game that depicts a fictional "CHOW member" being subjugated in some unhealthy way in order to make fun of them, as a counterpart of sorts to their "Kitten Cannon" game, so if you are an artist and/or game programmer who's interested in helping me with this, please email me at infernus006@hotmail.com.

Finally, if you are a decent person who just wants to enjoy some real humor that involves cats, please visit www.rap-cat.com where you can look at some funny pictures and download the new song that they produced for free, which is hilarious. There's always Garfield, too, which is very tasteful and a classic favorite for all ages. I also encourage visiting www.9lives.com and supporting their charity drive for homeless cats; they offer some very cute plushies that can be purchased at most of the stores that sell their cat food.
