MEAN, REALLY...
Not
only is the media format of the new Columbia VHS tapes inferior
to a DVD release, but the packaging leaves a lot to be
desired. Come on, Columbia, even us lowly internet hacks can
design better packaging! I mean, really...

Keep
those signatures coming, folks! We'll get this show back on
the air and on DVD if it's the last thing we do! Remember: when
it comes to television entertainment, beggars CAN be choosers!
Our
main objective in this campaign all along has been to get
the show back in syndication - on worldwide television
- where it rightfully belongs. Sure, the
UK's Channel 5 showed all the episodes in 2002, but
that's hardly good enough. We want Hooker on TV screens
around the globe - with fair and equal access for all. Hooker
is part of our planet's cultural heritage, and as such,
should be readily available even to those without VCRs.
However,
the Holy Grail of Hooker fandom has to be a feature-rich
release of the show's episodes on DVD. We want commentaries.
We want bloopers and outtakes. We want behind-the-scenes
documentaries. We want interviews with the cast and crew.
Heck, we even want the TJ-Hooker.com Staff to be allowed
a commentary or two! Needless to say, our campaign's work
is far from over. In fact, it's only just begun!
TAKE
ACTION ELSEWHERE
•Write
to Columbia/Tristar television, the production company
who owns the rights to the show. Let them know you want to
see it on TV again - and to buy the show on DVD!
•Email
The
National Network. Their current lineup shows their American
demographic would be very Hooker-friendly. Tell them
how many more viewers they'd get if they'd pick up T.J.
Hooker!
