Tidus

Tidus is a vibrant and energetic youth from the futuristic city of Zanarkand. When Zanarkand is attacked by Sin, he wakes up in Spira, a thousand years later. He joins Yuna on her quest to eliminate Sin, hoping that when he comes face to face with what brought him here, it will be enough to take him home.

Auron

Auron is a legend among the people of Spira. Ten years ago, he helped Yuna's father defeat Sin. Now he lends his power, his mind, and his unmatched experience to Yuna's pilgrimage. Although he seems true to Yuna's cause, the brooding guardian may have some other plans in mind at journey's end...

Wakka

Wakka is a boisterous young man, born on the Isle of Besaid. Although a generally kind person, he has rigid ideas of what should and should not be done, according to the teachings of the Temple of Yevon. However, as Yuna's guardian, he may have to change the people to whom his loyalty lies- does he love the maesters or Yuna more?

Yuna

Gentle but strong, Yuna completed strenuous physical and mental training on the Isle of Besaid, following in her father's footsteps and becoming a summoner. Now, she faces a difficult pilgrimage across the lands of Spira to collect Aeons and gather strength for the Final Summoning that will defeat Sin and bring peace to the people of Spira.

Lulu

Lulu is the sultry and sexy, yet stoic and intimidating black mage. She hails from the island of Besaid, where she helped Yuna begin her training as a summoner. Although this is not the first time she is working as a guardian, her main role to Yuna is that of a wise older sister, and her knowledge of the terrain they cover is invaluable.

Kimahri

Kimahri, a silent but gentle giant, guards Yuna as her father figure, having seen her grow from a child playing into a young woman with a mission. His Ronso tribe shunned him because of his short stature among them. Although he has a quiet, bold exterior, he is wise and full of heart.

Rikku

Rikku is a cheerful Al Bhed girl with quick fingers and deep pockets. She latches on to Yuna, protecting her with all her heart and bestowing an affectionate nickname on her. Although Rikku's happy nature hides a concerned and sometimes frightened young lady, she wants to protect Yuna and all of Spira as well.
